Mark directly oversees strategy and implementation along with hiring of all key personnel. He is the former President and CEO of Frias Holding Company, the largest taxicab operator in Nevada with five taxicab companies as well as Las Vegas Limousines and Airline Limousine Corporation.
A former Nevada State Senator and Commissioner of Clark County Nevada, James worked with Nevada businesses and public entities in policy, environmental and business matters for more than 20 years. His significant legislative and political insight positions him as a sought after authority in the For-Hire Vehicle (FHV) industry, addressing transportation professionals and regulatory officials from around the world.
In addition, James has provided legislative guidance for drafting laws that support the changing needs of the ground transportation industry within the quickly evolving ehailing era. He has developed and collaborated on solutions that balance consumer demand for safe and convenient transportation, with reasonable fares and regulator demand for consumer safety, driver and fleet accountability and reliable supply and demand information.
Mr. James received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science at Lewis & Clark College and his Juris Doctor at the University of Arizona with high distinction. He currently sits on the USA Track & Field Foundation National Board, and recently served on the Las Vegas District FBI Citizen’s Academy Board of Directors. He remains philanthropically active in the Las Vegas community; supporting The Smith Center for the Performing Arts, Boys Town, Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health, the Public Education Foundation and others.
