Previously James was CIO for the seven different transportation companies which comprise Frias Transportation Management (FTM) where he was responsible for the design and implementation of all major systems ranging from call centers and dispatch, to vehicle surveillance radios, telephony, fueling and maintenance systems on one of the largest fleets in the country.

He is actively involved with the Intelligent Transportation Society of America, the International Association of Transportation Regulators, and the Taxicab – Limousine and Paratransit Association. Additionally Wisniewski participates with the United States National Work Group (USNWG) a joint subcommittee between the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the National Conference on Weights and Measures (NCWM).

Wisniewski’s active involvement with these organizations, along with his recent experience with FTM’s seven companies, combined with his keen intellect make him one of the most knowledgeable people on ground-transportation technology in the country.
